Understanding the science behind chemical reactions using balloons to demonstate the build up of carbon dioxide
Resources
Requires a number of empty soft drink/water bottles, balloons, lemon juice or vinegar, water and baking soda.
Instructions
Blowing up balloons using carbon dioxide. A small science based activity which should not take more than 30 minutes. Each cub takes a bottle pours a some water into it, adds some lemon juice, a dab of baking soda. The balloon is put over the end of the bottle and it inflates until it goes pop.
