Instructions

Six activity stations for the cubs to work around in a circus pattern, learning about different aspects of Science and speaking about what the main points are about the station.

constellations - luminous paint and black paper - copy constellations, turn lights out and see who can identify the correct constellations
Spinning snakes and candles - this looks at how hot air rises, the snake should spin
balloons and fizzy drinks -although not technically a solution, it is chemistry as it looks at how gases (CO2) expands in the balloon
Vinegar and baking soda and polystyrene cups - chemical reaction between baking soda and vinegar, the soap allows reaction to rise
ice cream making with salt and ice - the ice cream is made by the salt reducing the temperature of ice, thereby freezing the cream.
