Easter Pioneering challenge

Report Copyright Infringement View in OSM UK

Description

Cubs have to make a device for picking up and carrying an Easter egg (without using hands) using pioneering skills

Resources

Large (cheap) Easter eggs, canes and poles, string

Instructions

Cubs are given lots of garden canes, sticks, poles, string, reminders on how to tie knots, etc, and are challenged to come up with a device for picking up and carrying delicate/large objects from the surrounding grounds back into the hut. There should be multiple eggs (1 per team at least) and other objects (>=1 per team) hidden around the grounds for finding and carrying back in. Cubs should use knots to tie string/ropes, and lashings to bind together the poles/canes. Preferably, the ‘device’ should be able to pick up the objects without Cubs using their hands
