Description

A game to help learn about some of the major religious festivals and events of the worlds major religions. Includes Christian (Western and Eastern Orthodox), Sikh, Islamic, Buddhist, Jewish, Hindu, BahaÂ’I and Chinese.

Please note that the EID al fitr and Eid al Adha change year on year and will need to be changed accordingly.

As a guide;
2019 - eid al fitr in june, Eid Al adha August
2020 - eid al fitr in May, Eid Al adha July
2021 - eid al fitr in April, Eid Al adha June

Instructions

Before hand: Cut out the festivals strips.
To start: Lay out the calendar sheets.
The Cubs then place each festival strip on the month they think it happens (some are easy, some are hard).
When done, the leader removes correct combinations and the Cubs try again with the remainder. By a process of elimination, they quickly work out the correct order.
