Backwoods Lamb Chops

A lamb dinner in foil


Tin foil, lamb chops, potato, carrot, onion, carrot, lamb stock cube.


Thinly slice all of the veg.
Cut a meter of tin foil.
Fold in half with the shinny side showing.
Put a layer of onion, then carrot, slices of potato with the lamb chop on top.
Crush half a lamb stock cube over the top.
Repeat the veg on top in reverse, potato, carrot then onion.
Wrap into a cornish pasty style parcel.
Place in bed of embers for half an hour, turning half way through.
Test the chop is cooked though before eating.
