Make an insect hotel to encourage more insects to your garden/scout hut

Resources

Empty Plastic drinks bottle
Scissors
Corrugated cardboard
String

Instructions

Cut about 7cm off the bottom of your bottle
Make a hole in the bottle top
Thread some string through the bottle top & tie an knot on the inside of the bottle top
Roll up the corrugated card and put it into the bottle. The card will spring out and hold itself in place inside the bottle.
Make sure none of the card sticks out of the bottom of the bottle.
Screw the top back on.
Tie you insect hotel in a tree, about 1.5m from the ground.
