Map of local area, Compas, Ipad or computer with satelite software

Instructions

Lay the map on the floor.
Ask where north is, and how we can find it, using the compas
Turn the map to the correct direction, North pointing North
Try and find our location
Then with the Ipad look at a map view of the same area
Changethe view to satelite view, and see where the HQ is
Then look up some of the houses of the Beavers / cubs.
General understanding of the principle that a map is an ariel view of the ground
