Quick Cinnamon Swirls/Bread


Makes 24

4 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 Tbsp baking powder
1 cup butter, room temperature
2 egg
1/2 cup milk

For the filling:

1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar
2 tsp cinnamon


Preheat oven to 400 degrees F/200 Celsius.
Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and butter together until crumbly.
Beat together the egg and the milk and add to the flour mixture. Roll out in a rectangle about 6″ x 18″.
Spread dough with butter. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll up the dough length-wise pressing to seal the edges.
Cut into 1-inch sections, 12 in total and place into an ungreased muffin tin. Bake at 400 degrees F for 10 minutes.
