Romanian Oranges Game
Report Copyright Infringement View in OSM UK
Description
A traditional Romanian circle game which requires the children to pay attention!
Resources
Piece of paper and a pen
Instructions
The children sit in a circle and are numbered. They must remember their number and listen out for it! The leader writes all the numbers down on a sheet of paper that the children can see. The leader begins by calling out a number, for example "I need seven oranges". The child with that number must shout out immediately "Why seven, why not ten?". Then the child with that number does the same: "why ten, why not four?" And so on. Those who fail to answer immediately or call out a number are out of the game. Their number is crossed off the paper, and the game restarts. Crossed off numbers are not used. The game may continue, if you have enough time, until only one person is left. They are the winner.
