Description

A group of no more than three scouts take it in turns to navigate a motorist 30km on minor roads

Resources

A car, a driver, plus a leader traveling in the back
OS maps or road atlas x2 - so Scouts in back can follow the route as well as the navigator in the front seat

Instructions

From the Scout.org description of this activity:
With other Scouts, accompany a motorist on a journey of at least 30 kilometres, taking it in turns to act as navigator to a stated destination. The route should avoid motorways and major roads and if possible should be cross-country, using a variety of roads and lanes. There should be no prior route preparation.
