Instructions

This activity is best done one Six at a time

Ask the Brownies what they know about making an emergency call guiding them through the process described on the attached sheet.

Talk to the Brownies about the impact of hoax calls (there is a U-Tube video available on http://www.devon-cornwall.police.uk/YouthZone/Pages/Makea999call.aspx)

Set up a scenario per Brownie and ask them to write down that they will tell the Emergency Operator.

Get each Brownie to 'make' the emergency call to an adult.

You could use the potential dangers in the home pictures for scenarios or get your Brownies to act some out.
