Description

This exercise is to test the Scouts ability to listen, prioritise information and action appropriately. They must work as a team and share ideas with the Patrol leader acting as chair person. There a number of variables that can be used as answers. The most important element is for the Scouts to define and understand their answers, including the consequences of their actions

Instructions

Each Patrol to take a corner with a table. Each patrol is given one pencil and paper. Patrol Leaders are to Chair their Incident Command. Descriptions are only to be read out once. Questions may be asked to clarify understanding, though not to repeat information. Remember to drill down with their responses eg if they say weather... what sort?... wind chill?... cold... effect on functions... how does this effect group etc etc?
