Game played in patrols to identify map symbols
Ten map symbols per patrol, for example the attached.
Symbol key, as attached.
Each patrol lines up at one end of the hall, and there is a leader or adult at the other end with ten map symbols per patrol. One member per patrol runs to their leader and is shown a symbol. If they know what it is they can answer immediately. Otherwise they can run back and confer with their patrol, who have a symbol key to help them. They must then run back and give the answer before returning to their patrol. Then the next member goes up, and so on until all ten symbols have been identified.
