Instructions
Each participant gets 3 scraps of paper. On each piece of paper they write the name of a famous person/character/film etc. Each piece of paper is then folded up and put into a bowl and mixed up.
Participants are split into teams (any more than 4 to a team doesn't really work well)
Each team gets the bowl of names for 30 seconds each. Within that allotted time a ‘describer’ from that team must describe what’s on the paper to the others in their team. After each correct guess, the paper does not go back into the bowl, but is kept out and will form the final scores for round 1. After the describer’s 30 seconds is up, the bowl is passed to the next team who repeat the process. The bowl continues round and round the teams until all the pieces of paper have been guessed correctly.
Once all have been answered correctly, the names guessed by each team are added up and the scores for round one are written down.
Once the scores for round 1 are written down, all the names are refolded and put back into the bowl
Each team gets the bowl of names for 30 seconds each again. Within that allotted time a ‘describer’ from that team must describe what’s on the paper to the others in their team but this time they can only use 3 words. After each correct guess, the paper does not go back into the bowl, but is kept out and will form the final scores for round 2. After the describer’s 30 seconds is up, the bowl is passed to the next team who repeat the process. The bowl continues round and round the teams until all the pieces of paper have been guessed correctly.
Once all have been answered correctly, the names guessed by each team are added up and the scores for round 2 are written down.
Once the scores for round 2 are written down, all the names are refolded and put back into the bowl.
Each team gets the bowl of names for 30 seconds each again and for the final time. Within that allotted time a ‘describer’ from that team must describe what’s on the paper to the others in their team but this time they cannot speak, but must act out what is on the paper. After each correct guess, the paper does not go back into the bowl, but is kept out and will form the final scores for round 3. After the describer’s 30 seconds is up, the bowl is passed to the next team who repeat the process. The bowl continues round and round the teams until all the pieces of paper have been guessed correctly.
Once all have been answered correctly, the names guessed by each team are added up and the scores for round 3 are written down, and the totals from the other rounds added up. The team with the most overall correct answers wins!
Each time the bowl comes back round to a team a different 'describer' must be used!
