Instructions
1) Go outside and observe the moon.
2) In a large room, get 1 cub each to hold the torch (Sun), small ball (Moon), and large ball (Earth). Send large ball orbitting the torch, torch following large ball to keep it illuminated. Send small ball orbitting large ball. Show how large ball blocks out light on small ball, and so us standing on the large ball see phases of the moon depending on position of Moon and Earth.
3) Get hold of a large map of the moon or use the attachment. Use the attachment to explain the features of the moon.
