Description

Tell the cubs about the willow pattern story and what it means. Then after showing them a sample plate, ask them to reproduce a similar story on their plate and then when they have finished tell the rest of the pack about it.

Resources

Large white paper plates,( Got 60 for two pounds at pound shop) Blue poster paint, assortment of fine paint brushes, coveralls, Willow pattern story off the internet.

Instructions

Ask the cubs to think of a story with a Chinese theme. Then ask them to paint their story on to the plate with the blue poster paint. Make sure they keep it simple as even on a larger plate the space soon disappears.
