Instructions

Your challenge should you choose to accept it, is to complete as many of the tasks below as possible in 90 minutes. Each task is worth a certain number of points, and the patrol with the highest number of points at the end is the winner of the Monopoly Run!

You must provide evidence of each task in order to be able to win the points.

Please meet back at [Meeting Point] at [Time]. You will lose 2 points for each minute that you are late back.

The following tasks were used at the WestQuay shopping mall in Southampton. Please adapt for your local mall.

Tasks worth 10 points

• Get a picture with a security guard/police officer
• Do a dance in the Apple store and video it
• Help an elderly person pack their shopping
• Get a West Quay information leaflet
• Get a photo taken with a Bear
• Get a free chocolate sample
• Help a person with directions when they are standing near a map
• Get a picture of your whole patrol in a photo booth
• Get a free sample of perfume
• Get a photo of someone reading a “scouting” book
• Get a photo of your whole patrol wearing sunglasses
• Get a photo of someone in a Saints shirt
• Find the “shop mobility” shop
• Get a photo of the Amazon locker’s

Tasks worth 20 points

• Get a Hollister bag without buying anything
• Get an unusual photo with your whole patrol in
• Bring back a “present” that [Scout Leader Name] would like without buying anything
• Get some Wagamama chopsticks
• Bring back a free Krispy Kreme doughnut
