District event - Beavers follow a laid route. Races for 6 and 7 year olds.

Resources

Cones and pedestrian ribbon or other route markers.

Instructions

Leaders agree on location, and mark out the route with ribbon and or cones. Beavers race against all in their age. Race takes no more than 5 mins to run. Presentation of trophy or cup for the 1st in each race, certificates for all attending. All the groups in our district provide a Mars bar or similar and a drink for after the race. Great to bring other colonies together. Minimal setting up and parents can be spectators.
