Instructions

Demonstrate use of the machine to the cubs. Emphasize the need to keep the strings tight and the spacer in position while the strings are being twisted, and that the spacer must be carefully moved up the rope in the final stages of the process.
Allow the cubs to use the machine to make their own ropes.
