Description

Fill two bottles with water with lids removed (These are the goals). Split into two teams or as many as you like but you will need the same about of water bottles as you have teams.

Resources

Plastic two litre bottles and football. Possibly hula hoops/colours paper

Instructions

Teams have to protect their bottles of water whilst trying to knock over the other teams water bottle. We sometimes give them two balls and have a hoop over the bottle to prevent the goalie being too close. Only the goalie can stand the bottle upright once it has been knocked over. The winning team are the team with the most water left after a set time. This can be played with as many teams as you like but would recommend using differently coloured paper around the bottles or hoops for the teams to know were their goal is.
