A version of Stuck in The Mud using a soft football sized ball to tag people

Resources

Four football cones and one or two football sized foam/plastic balls

Instructions

1. Mark out a playing field using four football cones and explain the boundaries of the playing field to the Beavers
2. Nominate one or two Beavers who are IT and have the ball(s)
3. They Beavers who are IT catch the other Beavers by hitting them below the waist with the ball(s)
4. Hit Beavers have to stand still with their legs apart and their arms out to the side. They can be freed by another Beaver by crawling through their legs
5. The objective of the game is to catch all the Beavers
6. Only the Beavers who are IT are allowed to pick up the ball
