Instructions

Either give each Beaver a large piece of paper or roll out some lining paper along several tables
Play some different types of
instrumental music and ask the Beavers to paint the image they see in their mind. Choose a
variety of genres and pieces from around the world i.e. classical, nursery rhymes, jazz,
campfire songs, rock ‘n’ roll, Chinese, Russian, and Asian etc. Make some instruments and
challenge the Beavers to make some ‘mood’ music with them.
