Instructions

Have young leaders/ helpers as the 'initial worms' in the middle of the playing space/ hall. Give each Beaver/ cub a persona eg tea bag, apple core, grass clippings, potato peelings. Line beavers/cubs along one wall. YLS shouts 'tea bags' and those beavers run across the space trying to avoid being tagged by the worm. If tagged, they become a worm next round. Alternate with the different compostable ingredients. If 'compost' is shouted, all beavers run across the room/ space. The wormery should grow until there are no ingredients left!
