Description

Charity fund raising event where the children collect coins over a period to be decided by the leaders. You then hold an event where they make a line of coins edge to edge preferably in a public place - we do it through our village - plus a coffee morning - to raise funds for your unit. Make it more interesting by seeing which of your groups - Beavers, Cubs or Scouts can collect the most money!

Resources

Large yogurt pots, crayons or felt tip pens, scissors and labels (template attached), sellotape

Instructions

Using the template attached get your children to colour in or personalise the label for their coin collection pot. Cut them out and tape them to the pot. Take home, fill with coins and then organise your Line of Coins fund raiser.
