Spend an hour touring round your local town or neighbourhood noting down and discussing the relevance of different Community Facilities

Organise a route around the local neighbourhood. Get different scouts to lead in turn. Time the trip for about an hour. Get them to record the different community facilities they come across - stations, schools, libraries, old peoples homes, council offices, churches etc. How do these all contribute to the local community.
