Instructions

Tell Beavers about what advent means and link to the wait for Jesus as foretold by the books of the Old testament. Light an advent candle, do a hunt to find pictures of the story of Jesus, create a selfie tree (draw/write on stickers depicting what things from the past make each of us who we are ie school, mum dad, pets, hobbies, scouting!! etc) and stick on the branches of a tree picture, create a Jesse tree to show how the past made Jesus who he was, sing songs, say a prayer.
