Description

People in other countries have their own ways of dealing with emergencies and not all countries have public emergency services. In the poor part of Mumbai (Bombay in India) the fire service is expensive and can't get through the small streets. The people work together to put out the fires.

Instructions

For each team put an empty bucket at one end of the meeting place (the fire) and a full one at the other end (the slum pond). Each team must put out the fire.
See if they can work out the best method. Who spilt the most? If a team was to stand in a line and pass the cup along the line would this work better than everyone running back and forward themselves? Which would be used in Mumbai?
