Description

Roll a Babybell down a piece of guttering or upturned table etc and measure the distance rolled.

Resources

Babybels, Guttering or Table, tape measure

Instructions

Each Beaver takes a mini Babybel and rolls it down a piece of guttering/table/hill. The distance rolled from the end of the guttering to where it stops is measured or marked. Each Beaver has a go in turn.
An alternative to guttering is a collapsible table with only one leg extended or a small hill if outside. A spinning Babybel is remarkable self righting!

Cheese Rolling Background - Every year in a place called Coopers Hill in Gloucester competitors races down a very step hill chasing/trying to catch a large round cheese!
