Using Landmarks in local area to plan routes from base. Working in Patrols.

Instructions

Each Patrol is given an A-Z of local area (or photocopy of map)
Each Patrol is given 5/6 landmarks in local area to find on the map - these will include things like McDonalds, Shopping Centres, Schools, Churches etc.
Patrol then write out a circular route from base to all landmarks (and back to base). However, they do not include the name of the landmark on their route card.
Patrols then swap route cards.
Patrols then work down each others route cards and work out which landmarks they have visited along the way.
