Instructions

Main activity:

Use one of the two rhymes below to help kids identify the order of the planets
"My Very Easy Method Just Speeds Up Naming Planets'
"My Very Evil Monster Just Squashed Up Nine Planets"

After the rhyme has been learnt
Have 9 balloons blown up, one for each planet
Write a name of each planet and attach it to the balloon.

Pick nine kids and attach the one balloon each to their backs
Then stand them in the correct order away from the Sun (middle of the hall)
And get them to orbit the sun as the planets would
