Go on a trail with a difference, using the Beaver Scouts' power of observation

Instructions

- Talk to the Beaver Scouts about colour, nature and looking after the environment
- Divide the Colony into small groups and send each out with an adult, a garden cane and a roll of sticky tape
- Each group walks around the area around the meeting place collecting different coloured items from the hedges, trees and plants etc
- As they collect the different items the group needs to sellotape the items to the stick in the order they find them
- When each group gets back to the meeting place they hand the stick over to another group who then tries to follow the same route
