Cameras, maps and pre shot photos
Before the event: Walk around your local area and plan a route taking photos at various locations print these out along with the map of the area to hand to scouts on the event evening. I normally print all the images onto A3 sheet with 20 images for each team to find.
On the night:
Scouts can either be issued a camera per team or can be allowed to take their own camera/camera phone.
Each patrol or team follow the route and visit each location and take a photo trying to match the original. Bonus points are awarded for teams making funny poses at the various locations.
Awarded 1point per photo and extra points depending on poses etc.
