Use artistic skills to make a bookmark.

Instructions

Give each child a piece of paper roughly A5 size. They put their pencil anywhere on the paper and "take it for a walk", drawing their own swirly pattern. They then colour in the spaces of the swirls to create a unique piece of artwork. Cut coloured card into bookmark-sized pieces and cut the drawing down to size slightly smaller than the bookmark. Stick the drawing onto the bookmark, punch a hole at the bottom and thread a piece of ribbon through.
