Introduction:
This activity will teach your Guides how to present an Irish Cultural activity for example a song, dance or legend.

Instructions:
Plan to hold an Irish cultural night e.g.have a themed event around the time of St Patrick’s Day.
Get the Patrol Leaders to help with the planning about two weeks before the event.
Arrange for someone to come and teach the Guides some Irish dancing or,if one of the Guides is an Irish dancer,ask her to teach the others a routine.
Also arrange to teach the Guides some Irish songs.
Ask some of the Guides to research Irish legends and share what they have learned with the rest of the Unit on the night, information can be found in books or online.
On the night Irish themed snacks could be provided such as Tayto crisps,Cadbury’s chocolate, sausages, bread, tea
