Resources

Each Patrol needs:
Paper (A3 sheets, one for each Patrol)
Picture of house with different rooms (next page)
Markers
Pencils

Instructions

Introduction:
This activity will get the Guides to identify and list the possible dangers in each room and then discuss the ways to eliminate these dangers and make the place safe for younger children.

Instructions:
Give each Patrol a sheet of A3 paper.
Give each Patrol the picture of the house with the different rooms in the house e.g. bathroom, kitchen, living room.
Ask them to list the dangers in each room, particularly for young children.
Identify the ways these dangers can be made safe.

Debrief:
Compare answers between the Patrols, did they all pick the same ones?
