Introduction:
This activity will recap on the Safe Cross Code and importance of knowing it and using it every day.
Get the Guides to discuss the different ways of staying safe in a car e.g. safety belts need to be worn, even for short trips: on a bus, need to go slowly if using stairs as bus can start/stop suddenly:on a train, know where the emergency stop handle is, when it should be used, wait until train has stopped etc.

Scenarios:
Role play, get the Guides to think of different scenarios to act out as a Patrole.g. as pedestrians, in a car, on the train.
Each Patrol will be asked to act out one of the scenarios.
Safe Cross Code Song:
Ask the Guides in Patrols to look at the Safe Cross Code and to write and perform a safe cross code song/rap suitable for teenagers.
