Introduction
This activity will teach your Brownies about two common spiders and the types of web they make.

Instructions
Photocopy the information sheet in the attached file and the photos of the two types of common spiders found in Ireland.

Make an orb web picture using the instructions on the following pages.

Debrief/Discussion
Discuss with the Brownies how important spiders are and how they eat harmful insects like flies and mosquitoes which carry diseases.
