Description

A visit to The Great War Exhibition, The ANZ New Zealand Gallipoli Gallery and Pukeahu National War Memorial Park is an unforgettable learning opportunity for scouts and venturers. Uniquely different, the three learning experiences complement each other beautifully.
The Great War Exhibition sets the scene, rich in personal stories and highly evocative of the times. Students are transported into an amazing full sensory authentic experience that provides extraordinary insight into World War I.
The ANZ New Zealand Gallipoli Gallery within the Exhibition commemorates New Zealand’s part in the Gallipoli campaign through a series of colourised photographs, artefacts and a large scale diorama depicting the battle at Chunuk Bair. This diorama shows the desperate fighting, bravery and leadership on both sides that characterised this crucial battle.
