Ice-breaker activity to help Beavers get to know each other

Squares of plain paper, pencils, colouring pens/pencils

Instructions

Take a square of paper (A4 paper trimmed to a square is ideal) and fold into a cootie catcher (origami fortune teller / paper chooser). Instructions can be found here http://www.dltk-kids.com/world/japan/mfortune-teller.htm or just google 'cootie catcher'. Inside, the Beavers should write facts about themselves. Beavers then play with them, finding out things about each other as they do. Great for encouraging shy, new Beavers to join in.
