Simple no bake cookies


2 ½ cups (625ml) rolled oats
½ cup (125ml) unsweetened cocoa powder
2 cups (500ml) shredded coconut
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup (250ml) sugar
Baking tray
Waxed paper
Wooden spoon
½ cup (125ml) butter
1/2 cup of milk


Cover a cookie sheet with apiece of waxed paper. In a large bowl, stir the oats, cocoa, coconut, and vanilla. Set aside
In a medium size saucepan over a medium heat, stir the sugar, butter, and milk until it bubbles. Let it cook for 5 minutes, and then pour it over the first mixture. Stir well, and then cool for 3 minutes
Drop the dough by tablespoons onto the baking tray. Form each spoonful into a cookie with your fingertips. Refrigerate or freeze until the cookies harden
