Programming a leader
In this activity, participants will create a set of instructions to program their leader through a maze.
Paper (ideally graph paper)
Using pen and paper, and a buddy, write instructions for a turtle.
o Individually, use some paper to make a maze.
o Now, write some instruction for a turtle to go through the maze. Instructions you could use include:
o Move forward
o Move backward
o Turn left
o Turn right
o If your session knows about angles, they can use them to be more specific with how far to turn.
o Swap maze and instructions with a friend and see if the instructions work
