Description

Aimed at those who are not so confident in using harnesses and belay devices, this activity should get them using these and gaining confidence.

Resources

Harnesses, climbing rope, belay device, heavy pan/ weight, karabina.

Instructions

Throw a rope over the beam in the middle of the hall and draw up a heavy pan or similar using the belay device. As they get better can use the kit to climb a ladder or a frame and be lowered down using the device.
