Participants choose a picture of an inspiring role model who they know in real life, such as a friend or family member. They share their role model with the group in the next session.

Instructions

Ask participants to think of someone they know in real life, such as a friend or family member, who they really like and find inspiring. Ask them to: Bring a photo or drawing of this person to the next session. Think of one reason why they really like this person and write it down with the photo/drawing. Remind participants that they should be choosing role models they like because of who they are and what they do, not what they look like.
