Description

Participants choose a picture of an inspiring role model who they know in real life, such as a friend or family member. They share their role model with the group in the next session.

Resources

Real Role Models sheet 1.3.

Instructions

Ask participants to think of someone they know in real life, such as a friend or family member, who they really like and find inspiring. Ask them to: Bring a photo or drawing of this person to the next session. Think of one reason why they really like this person and write it down with the photo/drawing. Remind participants that they should be choosing role models they like because of who they are and what they do, not what they look like.
