Instructions

Introduction :
This activity helps new Brownies understand the meaning of the Brownie Promise and reinforces it with older Brownies

THUMBS UP THUMBS DOWN
Instructions

1. Give each Brownie one of each thumb
2. Write or draw on the thumb up( Green) something which describes carrying out the Brownie Promise
3. Write or draw on the thumb down (Red) something which describes not carrying out the Brownie Promise


Debrief/Discussion
Give each Brownie an opportunity to read out her ‘thumb up/down’ statements.
Ask the Pack do they agree or disagree with the statement? This may start a discussion about the Promise.
Place the thumbs up together and thumbs down together
