BBC Microbit: Make a digital compass with morse code.

Report Copyright Infringement View in OSM UK View in OSM NZ

Description

Make a digital compass which also sounds the morse code for the direction the microbit is facing.

This could also be a personal challenge for any Scout in Year 7 who has been given a micro:bit at school

Resources

BBC micro:bit
USB Cable
2 x crocodile clips
Speaker or buzzer

Instructions

The micro:bit is an awesome pocketsize computer which has been given away free to all year 7 students in England. Although they are used in school, The BBC is keen for students to create projects at home away from the classroom. The chances are that your 11 & 12 year old scouts own these and they are perfect for Scout Projects.
