Description

A simple series of relay races using different ways to move.

Resources

Space
a cone or something to show them where to 'move' to.
Skipping Ropes if required
Bean bag if required

Instructions

Children start at one end 'move' to the other end of the room and back before the next child repeats using the same method of moving.
Examples of different methods of moving could be:
Running
Skipping
Skipping With rope
Hopping
Jumping/ Bouncing
Crab
Leapfrog
Under Over (in pairs)
Commando Crawl
Balancing Beanbag (bucket of water? ) on head.
The winning team are the first ones sitting in a straight line after all completing the task.

You could swap round the 'team leader' to give everyone the chance to lead their team, explain possible tactics and motivate their team.
