Introduction This activity will teach Guides the importance of keeping fit and demonstrate easy fun ways to be active
Why not try a decathlon, pentathlon or triathlon?
Choose 10, 5 or 3 of the events (see overleaf).
Set up your bases for each event.
Divide the Guides into Patrols and they can move around the events. Get each Patrol to pick a country and if you can do this in advance perhaps they could wear the colour for that country.
These can be played indoors or outdoors.
Alternatively, if you have enough equipment, put each Patrol competing against another for each event.
Have a five minute warm up for everyone and then, if you are doing the decathlon, they should spend seven - eight minutes at each base (based on a 90 minute meeting).
