Lifeskill - How to wash hands correctly.

Resources

Glowtec cream, UV light, soap and water, paper towels.

Instructions

The boys will be given some Glowtec hand cream and asked to rub it thoroughly into their hands. They will then be asked to go and wash their hands, the way they normally would. Leaders will then examine their hands using a UV light - this will show up blue patches where the hands have not been washed correctly. Leaders will explain how poor hand hygiene can spread illness and will then demonstrate the correct way to wash hands.
