Fair Trade ( Dice colouring Logo)
Resources
1 One dice per two girls
2 Template of game per pair (two options attached)
3 Blue markers/crayons
4 Green markers/crayons
Instructions
This dice and colouring game will demonstrate fair/unfair and also become familiar with the Fair Trade symbol.
Introduction:
Have a discussion with the Ladybirds about all the different people who are involved in them getting food for example the farmer, the shopkeeper. Explain that if a product is Fair Trade it means that all the people get a fair amount of money. Show the Ladybirds a picture of the Fair Trade logo.
DICE C0LOURING LOGO GAME:
This dice colouring game will demonstrate fair/unfair and also become familiar with the Fair Trade symbol.
Instructions:
1. This game is played in pairs
2. Take it in turns to roll the dice
3. Colour in the number you throw
4. The first Ladybird to colour in all the sections is the winner
Debrief/Discussion
The left side (green) of the Logo has 12 sections and the right side has 18, therefore the right side (blue) has more work to do with only one dice.
