Make clay dishes from handprints

Air Drying Clay
Model carving sticks
Bowls
Rolling Pin

Instructions

1 Roll out clay and ask boys to fit their hands onto it.
2 Carve around each hand.
3 Ask boys to carve name and age on one side then flip it over.
4 On the other side have them draw a pattern, put lines where their fingers are etc.
5 Place hands in bowls to give them a curved shape.
6 Allow to dry and the following meeting they can be painted.
